Hey! Today is my son Robert’s 7th birthday! I can’t believe I’m the mother of a 7 year old! Yikes! Happy b-day honey! Anyway, that means I'm a busy person today!
I meant to post this at the end of the last chapter, but for those of you who care, the title of the next chapter is: The First Full Moon of the Term So get ready for Ms Grayson’s first class, and a bit of fun, as well.

absentmindedgenius - Isn’t it great when you miss a chapter of a fic, and then you have twice a much to read? I love that, especially when the story’s good. Quint’s broom is A LOT more responsive now, so any games in the future will be interesting! As for Connor’s hands, there have been hints about it since it was very first mentioned, but I’m sneaky! They hints aren’t always apparent, so you have to look real hard for them. The ball will play a bit part later – it took me forever to come up with a name for the thing!
HarryPotterFan777777 - It’s nice to have a reader who wants to be surprised! I hope that you’re not disappointed when all is finally revealed! Connor sees Rupert as a weird he’s-kind-of-family-so-I-have-to-look-out-for-him-whether-I-like-it-or-not thing going on, But like a lot of families, protecting members from outside tormentors does not mean that he can’t be tormented from those IN the family. Hehehehe….. You’ll find out a bit more about Ms Grayson next chapter, when she teaches her first solo DADA lesson. Professor Lyra may need to lend a hand later – but it won’t be anytime in the near future. Don’t worry, though, Clive is a good guy. As for the rest – I’m flattered! I have had some ideas for one-shots and alternate POV scenes since you mentioned it, so I may just tuck one in here and there from time to time if I get stuck with the main story!
dnd4ever - Aren’t you clever! That’s exactly what he needs to do, as he’ll soon learn!
DarkLadyofSlytherin - This chapter was a little static, wasn’t it? A few things little things were tucked in here and there, and we got to meet some new characters. Hopefully you’ll find the next chapter a little more eventful.
Dakkon13 - Sorry about the distinct lack of Snowball this chapter. I’m afraid he won’t be making another appearance (though maybe a mention) until around chapter (counts fingers) twelve, if I end up combining chapters the way I think I will from my outline. It’s something to look forward to. Connor’s hands don’t have too much to do with his mood, but it’s a good guess! Prof. Lyra takes a much more down-to-earth approach to Divination, and she understands that not everyone has a gift for it.
Pigwidgeon - Hi April! Thanks! I Professor Lyra is still a bit of a mystery, even to me. I know she’s got a part to play later in this story, but I’ve got her slated for the next in the series if the plot would just gel for me! I love Ms Grayson, and you’ll learn a bit more about her in the next chapter. I just finished writing a scene with Lupin in chapter nine that is fun – he is really cool.
LadyLupinLover - You know it's funny - some people have said that they don't trust Prof. Lyra, but liked Ms Grayson, and some have said just the opposite! Right now, I'm just in the introductory phase for these ladies, and you'll learn more about each as we go along.
brittney-a-t - D'oh! You're not the first to point that one out, but thanks for catching it! I'm going to have to carve out some time today to submit chapter replacements for the stuff I missed! No, it wasn't intentional - thank heaven I have astute readers to help me with stuff like that. *hugs you!*
