And the release date is:
Dec. 21st, 2004 06:33 amBloomsbury has reportedly posted that the release date for HBP will be July 16th, 2005! Why is it always in the worst heat of the summer? My sister and I throw a relatively large party on the day of each movie or book release (or the day before) to get everyone really excited about it – we usually draw a crowd of about 75 – 100 people throughout the night (mostly adults).
We have door prizes, games, and Honeydukes set up in the kitchen – great fun! It’s a LOT of work, but people tend to get really excited over it. Having it in July, however, is just harsh, since the temps here could easily still be in the triple digits well into the evening at that time of year! Maybe we’ll have to make snow cones – we’ll color them yellow and put little paper wings on them!
For those of you who order your books well in advance from Amazon.com, you might consider checking out their UK site – they often have enough of a price break that ordering the British version doesn’t cost any more than paying full price for the book (or less) here in the states.

And the responses to those lovely people who took the time to review!
Jasmine Evans - Thanks! Go ahead and laugh at poor Rupert, everyone else is, and while it might make him mad, maybe it will teach him a little humility – or not!
Lizzy87 - I was particularly proud of the kids for that prank, I giggled all the way through writing it! I can’t guess that Slytherin will be to chuffed about it, but I think Rupert will survive! Thanks – the kids are still all stuffed up, but seem to be happier, at least.
dnd4ever - A notch or three, indeed – but he’s in for even more (well deserved) punishment in the relatively near future – You’d think he’d learn!
LilyoftheEarth - Thank you, honey! *hugs* Don’t feel too bad for Rupert, he really does ask for it! Connor seems to have an affinity for magical creatures, doesn’t he? I guess there are worse things that can happen during a COMC class, huh? (Just ask Draco). The itching hands may bother you a bit more in the next chapter – they’re sure going to bother Connor!
Goofy Link of the day: I don't know what to say about this one, except - strange...
