LadyLupinLover - Well Lupin finding out about Connor hexing Rupert is a funny thing – Lupin’s not dumb, and he could plainly see that Rupert was standing near the passageway out of the school when they found him. Rupert, of course, can’t say anything about what happened to him, without risking Lupin finding out he was trying to figure out how to sneak out of the school. I think Connor’s safe from Lupin on this one.
Professor Snape and Lyra have an interesting friendship, but not a romance. It would probably take a little side-story to tell that one, and I’m still fleshing out details in my head about it. But, no, no romance there.
Aeli Kindara - Thank you so much! You’re so sweet! I must say that I’m a bit nervous about the HBP release! I’m afraid that JKR is going to come along and ruin all of my hard work in trying to keep this as compatible to canon as possible by killing off a major character or making someone evil or something.
Lourdes - Well, Snowball isn’t really as large as the boggart made him appear – he’s about basketball sized by now, which is disturbing enough. I think that Harry and Ginny would put their collective foot down if he was growing THAT fast! Snowball is another character I’ve been thinking about doing a side-story for eventually. Adam is a fun character to write, and we’ll be seeing a bit more of him when Connor goes home for Christmas.
Okay – admittedly I make my fair share of spelling/grammar/punctuation mistakes, (Its and it’s is a big one I mangle) but I’ve been reading a bit lately, and I’ve come to the conclusion that there are a few common mistakes in many of the fanfics I’ve been reading that are going to drive me absolutely insane.
