Feb. 17th, 2005 06:41 amSomeone totally sold my e-mail address to Spammers, and I can’t for the life of me figure out who! I haven’t given my e-mail address to anyone unreliable that I can think of. Grrrr. It’s annoying (as married woman) to have offers to meet other women, and getting e-mails offering my said women in a mature age group is just adding insult to injury! As if I couldn’t get younger women if I were so inclined! But I digress – this isn’t relevant since I am both straight and married.
My husband has kindly given me this lovely flu that is going around – you know the one – chills, body aches, head/chest cold, cough. Nice of him, eh? I just have to make it through my PTO meeting tonight (I’m the secretary), and then I can crawl into bed and whine like a beaten puppy – cause that’s how I feel.
Also, my muse – the one that tells me what to write? She’s back on the night shift. I got five pages written last night between coughing fits. I sure hope it makes sense when I go back to read it later today.
Anyway, I didn’t get any new reviews for the last chapter, but one lovely person did go on a bit of a reading spree with some of my older stories:
Chelsea Evans:
(Neville’s New Wand) – I’m so glad you enjoyed it so much. I don’t really expect him to make NEWT level potions, either, but a girl can dream! Either way, I think we can expect more from him that we have seen so far!
(Private Reflections) – Think that Vernon loves Petunia very much, indeed, and that we tend to only see his ugly side because of his disdain of magic. As for Petunia, I think that her bitterness grew from jealously, and that at first, they must have had some fondness for each other at some point.
(Enemy Of My Enemy)- You’re probably right about Draco thinking it was all too much fuss. I was in a strange mood when I wrote this one, because I really don’t think that Canon is any more redeemable than his father is.
Bit of bizarre for the day: - http://www.effect.net.au/lukastan/humour/Thought/Part-1.htm
