Random junk no one cares about but me...
Sep. 12th, 2006 01:40 pmI have worn a baseball cap for four days in a row, because I didn’t feel like dealing with my hair. It’s at the awkward stage, where it doesn’t want to do anything but look stupid, apparently.
Jared (my youngest son) lost a tooth yesterday while at school, so he’s the class celebrity for the next fifteen minutes or so. He is also going to have a tooth pulled in about two weeks, because he has an extra baby tooth that is growing in funky, and it looks like a fang right in front…yuck. *wrinkles nose*.
He is worried that it might hurt. WTF? This is the kid who, when he was four years old, got jealous that his older brother had a loose tooth, and he didn’t. So what did he do? He pulled out one of his own MOLARS with a pair of plastic pliers! Oy. My dentist loves us. That tooth wasn’t supposed to come out until he was at least ten.
I also let Jared’s seventh birthday creep up on me, and now I am trying to plan his birthday party…I’m going to do exactly like we did last year, and let the party coordinator at Makutu’s Island handle everything. All I have to do is show up with my kids, and maybe buy some extra game tokens. Doesn’t get any easier than that! I’m going to have it on a Wednesday afternoon, because the kids get out of school early that day, and the place won’t be crowded then.
My niece’s and father in law’s birthdays are also this month, and my kids have each received invitations to other kids’ parties, too.
