*Plays trumpet fanfare*

I am pleased to say that my boss talked with me this morning, and with the co-worker I was having trouble with. I don't know what she said about me, but it must not have been bad enough to get me in trouble of any kind. I was offered more time in the classroom (which I love) and a little time monitoring the playground (which I don't think I will mind) to make up for the loss in hours. In fact, I will actually end up with about an hour and a half more each week, which is always a bonus.

Work was much less stressful today, even with the kids asking me why I wasn't in the lunchroom. I just told them that I was assigned other jobs during that time, and they accepted it easily.

We had a hell of a storm last night, and it was raining sideways for a while because of the high winds, but luckily we didn't loose any shingles from the roof, and no trees are down in our yard. All of the retention basins around here are pretty full, but that is what they are for. We are supposed to be getting an even worse storm tonight. In spite of all of that, the temperature outside is a very nice 55F. It has been in the low 70's lately, but I think the cold weather will be back before all is said and done.
