Horray! Reviews!
Nov. 24th, 2004 11:43 amNow that I’ve watched the PoA dvd three times in succession, I thought I might do something useful! I must say that I’m VERY pleased that so many people have seen fit to review Chapter Three! It makes me happy to know that others are enjoying it as much as I am! I’ve tucked a clue or two into a couple of these replies, if you’re curious – good luck puzzling them out!
Chapter Three Reviews:
Lady Eowyn - They may well need the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch later in the story – but that’s all I’m going to say about that! Dudley lives at Number Four Privet drive still, because his parents gave it to him as a wedding present, and moved into London. I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story!
Hula Homer - It was a long chapter, wasn’t it? The longest so far, actually, and I’m just finishing writing chapter eight! I’m glad you were pleased! I’m trying to update every Monday, so check back then!
Michele Malfoy - Don’t worry about the mix up with the brooms! I actually have pages and pages of notes to help keep me straight on everything!
AbsentMindedGenius - Hehe! When you mentioned that you wanted to know what happened to George’s arm. I thought that I had already mentioned that part about the giant before – oops! That’s what happens when I write so far ahead. I’m glad to have quenched your curiosity a bit, and who knows? Maybe someday George will tell the whole tale.
LilyoftheEarth - Yeah – Harry’s quiet fury was way more effective than shouting might have been. He had it coming, and I was glad when Harry spoke up.
Silvervamp10 - Yes, I think you’re right – I’d keep an eye on those itchy hands if I were you – you never know what they might be trying to tell us!
Megglett - You’re so sweet! It’s nice to know that word is getting around about my fics! I’m glad you checked out my LJ – never be afraid to leave a comment if you want! I did enjoy writing up a few little tidbits to answer some of the questions I had, like what ever happened to Crookshanks, and how did George lose his arm and such.
As for the itchy hands – they definitely mean…something!
LydiaBoyle - I’m glad you enjoy the Weasley humor, because I do too! It’s so much fun to write! Sorting will come in the next chapter!
Brittany a-t - Well now I’m blushing! Thanks so much! It would have served Rupert right to make him wear silk robes and freeze, wouldn’t it? I think they might have done it if they could be sure of getting Dudley to foot the bill, but what are the chances of that?
dnd4ever - You think?
LadyLupinLover I think you’re right! (hint, hint!)
SHElaWOLFsbane - Snowball is a bit of a mystery, even to me. Connor is definitely NOT his favorite person, though, and the feeling is mutual! I’m glad that the balance between the adults and the kids having something to say to Rupert came across so well. He deserved every word. The itching hands are a reaction to something, all right. We’ll just have to wait and see WHAT. You might want to pay careful attention to what’s going on around Connor when the itching starts (hint, hint!).
TheEighthWeasley - I’m sorry! I should have checked my e-mail before posting! Don’t worry, your work won’t have been in vain, though, as I plan to fix the errors and replace the flawed chapter with the corrected one!
Other Reviews -
Pal - (Sanity in Azkaban) – Nope! It’s a one shot, mostly because I don’t really have time to give a longer story the attention it deserves. Maybe someday…
LadyGame - (Foreshadowing the Past) – Thanks so much! *Snuggles you!* I’m sorry you didn’t find the second half as good as the first. I hope the sequel will meet your expectations!
Wolf-the-Wanderer - (Foreshadowing the Past) – Forgetful one, are you? The plot becomes more obvious as you read on – I hope you like it when you find it!
Juliet5368 - (The Plan, parts one & two) Thank you! No plans for a Part Three so far, but one never knows! I never intended to write part two, either.
(Learning to Fly) – Thanks! A little fluff now and then never hurts, does it?
That’s all for now, though I certainly hope there will be more! For those of you who drop by just for the goofy link, try Virtual Bubble Wrap! You’ll want to turn on your sound for the full effect. Not quite as good as the real thing, but close! Can’t you believe that people get paid to think this stuff up?

The old version never needs refreshing, if you prefer. Let me know what you think!
To my fellow Americans out there - Happy Thanksgiving! Hug someone you love and tell them how you feel! You can never say "I love you" enough when you really mean it!
