Reviews for Chapter Eight
Dec. 28th, 2004 09:44 amWoohoo! I just won an auction of a Depeche Mode CD on eBay! I had forgotten how much I used to love them, and was stunned when I realized that I didn't have any CDs of their music. Well, now soon I will! Yay! Yes, I know you probably don't care and you're thinking I'm kind of old now that you think about it.
Still sick and yucky feeling – I’m thinking I may have an ear infection to go along with the rest, and might have to break down and see a doctor. Sigh. I’ve managed to avoid going to my GP for three years, so of course I’ll get the lecture about that while I’m there. I have a feeling the first part of January is going to be spent getting caught up on all of my various doctors for check-ups. Fun.
Anyway – I’ve been trying hard to finish up chapter ten – I’m WAY behind my own schedule for writing and need to get moving if I want to continue updating weekly!!
I have no idea why, but chapter on FA is completely italicized – rest assured I didn’t send it in that way, and am working on getting the problem rectified.

Aeli Kindara - What a pretty name! I’m glad that you’re enjoying so much that you’re not noticing the errors! There were so pretty big clues in this chapter about Connor’s hands and where I am going with the plot, but if you haven’t figured it out yet, there are more clues to come! Connor is a bit clueless, but then, he’s thirteen, so we can’t hold it too much against him! You’d think that seeing his parents kissing all the time, he’d be a little more ‘with it’, though!
Headmaster Cromwell - And RPG site, huh? I’ve never visited one, so I’m not sure how they work! How much time is meant to be devoted to it? Maybe I’ll check it out once my kids are back in school and I’m over this dreaded illness. Thanks for the invitation and the well wishes!
LilyoftheEarth - You’ve asked all of the right questions! They are all related to each other, as you guessed. Unintentional magic is a tricky thing that we should be keeping an eye on, since he’s been doing it all along in the form of his precognition!
No goofy link today (do you guys really go to my goofy links?), but instead a story recommendation. It’s short, and a one-shot, but I will warn you that this is a seriously sad fic, and I actually got teary-eyed while reading it. That rarely happens with me, so I thought I’d pass the word. It might just be because I’m feeling under the weather, but either way, it’s very well done! Be nice if you do read it, and leave a nice review for the author!
