Strangeness
Mar. 8th, 2005 06:46 amToday’s irrelevant post: Socks! Why is it that I have 30 pairs of white socks, but I’m still picky about which ones I like to wear? Is this a form of obsessive-compulsive behavior? Also – I only wear colored socks, like, twice a year, and yet I have several pairs of colored socks still from my high school years, where big baggy sweaters and matching scrunchy socks were a MUST! Especially when worn with leggings or a mini skirt, and those trusty Reebok high tops! God, I’m getting old! I still miss wearing paisley!
Onto the reviews
Lourdes123456 - You guessed it! Connor’s life would be boring if it were all smooth sailing ahead! Plus, there wouldn’t be much point to the story! Look for more drama during the Christmas holidays.
Lyra - Poor Connor, indeed. Yes, I always wondered what a wizard might think of the idea of going on a cruise. The idea of a cruise freaks me out, personally. I don’t like the thought of not being able to see land for a prolonged period of time, and I’m afraid of storms as sea.
Pigwidgeon - Your review makes me happy! Yes, Connor is gaining a bit of maturity, and will need to develop it pretty quickly with everything I’ve got planned for him! Mwahahahah! His schedule is going to need to be rearranged, and I’m pretty sure he’s going to fight it tooth and nail. I appreciate your comments about the dialogue – I really do try to keep them age-appropriate, and not talk like little adults. It’s nice to know I’m succeeding.
msabellaThanks! There really isn’t going to be a big villain in this story, really (I’m saving that for the next story, if I can get it to come together), but there is going to be on major event that is going to affect everything – it’ll be coming up once I’ve established one or two more points. Vanessa isn’t going to have too much of a role in this one, but Rupert is going to play an interesting part. Thanks for the encouragement!

Why Harry? Why couldn't you have told me while I was alive!?! At least we'll always have Hogmeade....
Link of the day: All I have to say about this, is that you need to have a fast computer (read: No dial-up), and it wouldn’t hurt to be stoned at the time of viewing. Though you’ll probably feel stoned while viewing….

For those of you with slow computers, I give you Mr. Bean in his underpants. WARNING for scariness and hilarity.
