May. 2nd, 2005 08:02 amChapter 23 is up at Fiction Alley here: http://www.thedarkarts.org/authors/a_is_for_amy/FU23.html
It actually went up yesterday, but I was too sick to update my journal.
And at ff.net, I’m not sure. It seems I can upload my document, but I can use the chapter manager. I had the same problem last week… I’ll keep trying. If it’s not up by tomorrow, and I’m not too out of it, I’ll put it here on my LJ behind a cut.
Sorry all. Okay, guys –kids are better, I’m really, really sick. I don’t know what I have, but it hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday afternoon, and I feel like I would very much like to die. I will no writing done in the next couple of days that I can foresee. Truth to tell, I’m surprised the I’m sitting upright long enough to type this. Next week’s chapter is two weeks away at best.
Reviews -
GoddessArtemis - I think that Connor wishes he could cure his uncle, but it’s not very realistic, even with magic. I definitely don’t want Connor to turn into a Gary Stu or Marty Stu or whatever they’re calling the male version of Mary Sue these days.
Lourdes123456 - Yes, I had a very hard time pick and choosing what I wanted to include and exclude in this chapter as far as Werewolves go. I must have re-written it a half dozen times. All of your observations hold some merit, but we must also keep in mind that the wizarding world is a bit behind the times with social issues.
Lalaith Fenaro - Hmmmm. Thanks for the heads up on the typos and such. I had quite a bit of trouble with this chapter, and even sent it out to my beta twice. I’ll have to look into it and see what when wrong. AS for Mr Sweeper? Nah – He’s just creepy. He’s not a pedophile, either. Just really…creepy.
As for another sequel, I would love to write one, but I’ll have to wait for inspiration to strike.
Lily of the Earth - Thank you! I love Ms Grayson, and how she doesn’t seem to have any compunction against hexing the student if the situation warrants it..
Feven T. (No Laughing Matter) Thank you! I’m glad the emotion of the moment came out in my writing. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Link of the day: I can’t remember if I posted this before, or just complained about bad grammar and spelling. Anyway, it’s handy to have for reference.

Your Birthdate: February 7 |
Born on the 7th day of month gives you a tendency to be something of a perfectionist and makes you more individualistic in many ways. Your mind is good at deep mental analysis and complicated reasoning. You are very psychic and sensitive, and you should usually follow your hunches. You may not take orders too well, so you may want to work alone or in a situation where you can be the boss. This birthday gives a tendency to be somewhat self-centered and a little stubborn. |
