A Counter to Brutality
So, everyone's doing rommely's Brutal Honesty Meme, and my least favourite thing/biggest peeves about those memes is how they're only really successful when they're posted by people in HP fandom, or so it feels.
This is my counter, to see if people who are primarily in Little Closet Fandoms can make that kind of dent too, and because it seems like people are needing it. (Thank you for the inspiration, Feathers, who made the post mentioning it.)
another love meme!
Step One: Comment with your username.
Step Two: People can comment anonymously, or using their journals, to say things they like, love or admire about you. Keep the hate at the brutal meme.
Step Three: Pimp. Tell your friends. Show off. Have fun.
SHARE THE LOVE HERE
personal note: I really hope that people respond to this one as eagerly as they responded to the opportunity to hide behind anonymity to be cruel to others. Brutal Honesty was taken several steps further by some for a chance to be just plain mean, and made me almost afraid to interact with other muns at Milliways for fear of supporting that behavior unwittingly. Constructive criticism is one thing, but that's not what happened in the other meme. Let's make this one good.
