Sep. 21st, 2006 11:16 amSo, I'm finally making a new display board for the class I teach - I have only been putting it off for about six months. *rolls eyes*
It's just such a huge job, and requires me to get out every single artistic medium I own so I can make samples with each one. I've been working on it for five hours, and I estimate another two before I am finished.
That being said, my Diamond Glaze has turned a funky brown color because the push pin I used to keep the nozzle from clogging rusted inside. So now the glaze is worthlss, and I needed it for my example of microbeads. I could use a sheet of double sided adhesive, if I could find it...but I have no clue where it is.
UGH...back to work. I need to finish this board by tomorrow, because I am supposed to be teaching all day on Saturday. I am kind of hoping my class gets cancelled. I can refuse to teach a class that doesn't have enough sign ups to make it worth my while.
PLUS!! I have to run my first PTO meeting tonight. At least the Psycho Secretary won't be there to throw a monkey wrench into things. I may take this opportunity to see if anyone else wants the job, so I can cut her loose.
Tomorrow is also my youngest son's seventh birthday, and I have his party tomorrow evening. So far 11 kids have RSVPed. Oy.
I'm a busy lady this week!
