Amy, the fish killer
Nov. 15th, 2006 11:46 amI am a horrible person. I cleaned the fish tank today, and for reasons I cannot fathom, TEN of the fish died while they were in a separate bowl waiting to go back into their tank. I have done this dozens of times, and never lost a fish like this, and then when I went to get them to put the back this time, all but four were belly up.
*sigh* This is way too soon after the death of the turtle, and so…I replaced most of the fish. I fully intend to let them think that only one or two died. If I thought I could find another glassfish and another fancy tailed guppy like the ones that we lost, I would have bought those, too. I still might head out to the OTHER pet store in town, and see if they have any.
Ah, well, I’ve still got a bazillion things to do before I can go to bed tonight, so off I go. Keep your fingers crossed for me that the kids don’t notice that they are different fish!
