Am I poisoned?

I was putting donated candy into little snack size baggies for the fishing game for the carnival today, and came upon something I had never seen before. Tootsie Tarts. They came in a small gold packet, much like the Sweetarts do, with two little candy tablets inside.

The principal's secretary and I decided to each try one. I ate the green one, and she ate the yellow. Each piece had two "T's" stmaped on it. It was very sour...like my eye twitched uncontrollably, and there were tears involved kind of sour. It wasn't crunchy like Sweetarts are, that crumble up in your mouth; these had a tiny about of chew to them, but couldn't be called chewy. It was odd.

Now, we could not find another packet of these in the great big box of loose candies that was donated, so when I got home, I went online and found NOTHING about them. Not even on the Tootsie website. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

This really kind of creeps me out, and makes be wonder if I have ingested something that will make me sick or kill me. Never mind the fact that I feel fine now...what if I wake up dead, later?!

I sent an email to the the Tootsie people, but I am not sure if it went through.
