It’s Early!!

Well, I posted Chapter 14 – Bend In The Road on the Lexicon Fan Fiction Forum this morning, and submitted it to Fiction Alley – I figured doing it this early would help it to get up on Monday (maybe?) – and if it gets up today, then that’s a bonus. I’ve also posted it up early at FF.net here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2127049/14/

Well – the secret about Connor has been revealed (for the most part) and I know it’s not necessarily what you were expecting, but explanations and details will be forthcoming in the next chapter (Chapter 15 – Keeping it Secret). Feel free to ask some questions and to let me know if your guesses came anywhere near what the truth really was!

Hey! Happy Valentine's day!! I hope you'll take the opportunity to go tell someone (preferably someone you know) that you love them!

I got a couple of late birthday presents yesterday from my other two sisters (I have three) – One was this really cool book called “Dragonology” that I highly recommend checking out the next time you’re in Borders or Barnes and Noble. It has really cool pictures. The other gift was a two disc CD set of 10000mainacs music called Campfire Songs, packed full of lovely obscure songs mixed in with some more well-known hits. I can’t wait to listen to it! Unfortunately, I’ll have to, because our plumbing appears to have exploded, and I wouldn’t be able to hear it over the sounds of my husband swearing.

I’m just going to sit over here in my little corner and pretend not to be here.

As for the loverly, loverly people who reviewed: I love you!

Mehgan - Sorry if it wasn’t clear: “Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw seemed to be torn between elation that Gryffindor’s team was possibly weakened by the loss of one their star players, and sympathy Connor’s his plight.” If Connor is no longer allowed to play in the matches, then Gryffindor might be a weaker team – thus beatable in future matches. They feel bad for Connor, but they’re happy in general by this turn of events. Even Though Gryffindor has already beaten Ravenclaw, it still matters in the running for the house cup if Gryffindor loses future matches. Does that make sense now?

I-confuse-everyone - Thank you!! I’m glad it wasn’t too much of a cliffhanger! Next update in a week!

LadyLupinLover - Alas, almost every single question you asked is covered in the next chapter. I think that Connor is going to have a lot more on his plate now, than worrying about whether Rupert gets into trouble (but here’s a hint for later: Don’t forget that Rupert knows how to get through the secret passage now).

Pigwidgeon- I’m impressed, April! You’ve got it pretty much pegged – there’s a bit more detail to it, but you’re very close to being perfectly right!

Red Tizzy - Thank you! Connor does seem to have a certain animal magnetism, doesn’t he? Couldn’t be the apples in his pockets….

dnd4ever - Oh, Connor’s going to wish it was a joke, I’m afraid. They are going to be on the right track for helping him, though Connor might not like it all very much.

As a matter of fact, if you’re even slightly easily offended – don’t go there.
