Reviews and balloon hats...
Apr. 11th, 2005 10:59 amNothing to say today, except thanks for the great reviews! I’ve already written four pages of chapter 22, and now I’ve going to take a break to read a trashy romance novel! Ta!
TEC - Thank you very much! Connor will be working a bit more with Snape in the future. I think it helps that Connor has a real love for Potions – something Harry never developed.
Lyra - Yes, I was ready for a less-tense chapter after the Christmas debacle. I have a feeling things won’t stay calm for very long, though!
Red Tizzy - Yes, Clio is one of “those” owls. She’s a bit protective of Connor, and really very sweet, if a bitty strange. Connor and Snape will probably never be friends, but Connor recognizes that there is a lot to be learned from the grumpy old Potions Master. Getting to work so closely with Snape is very exciting to Connor—probably the only student in the school who might think so.
LilyoftheEarth - Thanks, honey! Rupert is creepy no matter how he acts, I think, but he’s the way he is for a reason. We’ll be seeing more of him soon! Thanks for the input about Snape—you know I fret over getting him right. It’s a good thing the years have mellowed him out some, and that old grudges aren’t keeping him from teaching Connor properly.
Link of the day - Even if you don’t read the article, the pictures are pretty cool. I’d love to take a workshop on how to do this!

snarkyroxy I haven't forgotten about your wand, I'm just waiting to get the right tools to make it extra super cool! I'll let you know when it's done so that I can get an address from you to mail it to!
