(no subject)
May. 4th, 2005 11:25 amSorry I’ve been so out of it. I now have drugs! Antibiotics that I’m not allergic to! Even better. So now I can swallow with only a little bit of agony (instead of the kind that burned with the intensity of a thousand hells), and I’ve been stuffing my face with yogurt to prevent some of the nastier side effects from the antibiotics. Incidentally, yogurt is the ONLY thing, aside from popcicles that I have been able to eat for three days. At least I get some weight loss out of it, as I had just started a diet three days before getting sick, anyway.
I can now sit upright for up to an hour without getting overly light-headed, so I can now address some of the reviews that people have been so kind to leave for me.
Pigwidgeon - Thank you! I must have re-written the werewolf scene a half-dozen times or more before I was satisfied, and could have gone on and on. Alas, it was not a double period class. I do so love how Ms Grayson has no problem hexing students when she feels the situation warrants it. South America – I don’t know that Connor is going to be given much choice in the matter if the adults in his life think that it’s what he needs….
TEC - Sweeper is just a very creepy man so far… I haven’t decided (or he hasn’t told me) what sort of part he’s going to play in all of this. Connor does love potions, and he enjoys working with Snape. Connor understands Snape’s teaching methods, and has an intuitive grasp of the subject that most don’t.
brittney a-t - Thank you! I wanted to make it believable, and worked hard on finding lots of different sources of information on werewolves before I wrote it all. Lol! I didn’t even notice that I’d gotten that last chapter out on the full moon! Good catch! Next chapter will be a week or more late, I’m afraid.
Red Tizzy - Hee hee! Nothing seems to happen to Rupert in Half-measures, does it? Dumb kid should know by now… As for seeing Connor getting trained by Drina Ayala, it won’t be in this story, I’m afraid, but most likely will be touched upon if and when I get a sequel to this one together, plot-wise.
apwdb - Thanks! I’m glad to know you’ve been following along! I know sometimes it’s hard to remember to leave feedback, especially if you read stuff off-line, like I usually do. I appreciate your taking the time to leave one!
Sorry about your early demise at the hands of the Zombies, Lily.
Link of the day - In keeping with the theme of the meme, here’s some more for zombies!
