Okay, so I rented the“Phantom of the Opera” and (half) watched it twice. I did see it in the theater, and thought it was very dramatic and entertaining. There were a lot of things I think they should have left out, but over all an enjoyable film. So. For those of you who loved the movie, could you explain one or two things that I didn’t catch the reasons for?
Cut for any of you who haven’t seen the movie and don’t want spoilers.

Lady Lupin Lover - Yes, I feel bad for Lupin – it would be quite a life to endure as he has. Ms Grayson’s dark side? I think it’s more practical. She’s a pragmatic soul, and likes to take the most direct route to wherever she needs to be.
Uncle Brad - Yeah – Rupert found out first….but he just doesn’t know it! Hee! I’d hoped I’d trick one or two people with that. He may, indeed, lose his taste for out of bounds wandering, but I don’t know if Connor and Co. will have much to do with it. Mwahaha! Connor already feels bad about Lupin’s condition, but I think that the real clue in this is that his hands don’t itch around Lupin all the time (a fact which I haven’t really pointed out in the story, yet). It’s a pretty safe bet that Lupin’s Lycanthropy is just part of who is at this point, and thus, incurable in the way that I’m sure Connor would love to cure him. Don’t go looking to Connor for miracles for Lupin.
SituKaida - Hey! Welcome aboard! Not only are you a first time reviewer, you also hit post #100! Woot! Thank you for your kind words – your guesses were good ones, but alas, incorrect. See my answer to Uncle Brad above for the reasons. In a nutshell, I don’t want Connor turning into some sort of god or anything. He’s just a poor confused kid with an awful lot on his plate. So his family is trying to strengthen him and protect him before he breaks. No one wants a broken Connor. ;)
Lady Game - Another long lost reviewer! I’m so excited! Thank you for taking the time to drop me a line! I love Lupin, as well. He’s just so….together for a man who’s faced as much hardship as he has over a lifetime. You have to admire that kind of genteel intelligence and control. Connor’s friends have been fading into the background a bit, and I’m sorry for it, because I enjoy all of them very much. If I wasn’t so tied down to Connor’s POV, I’d definitely be slipping in bits of their thoughts and feelings about certain things. Maybe I’ll find some time this summer to write some outtakes from different POVs while I’m trying to work up a plot for the next installment. I’d like it to feature Lucy and Ian heavily, but can’t quite get the right idea for it yet. It’ll come, though. It always does, eventually.
Link of the day: This is kind of how I picture Mr Sweeper, except with no eyeliner. http://www.todoperros.com/fotosdeperrosfamosos/frank.jpg
