How do doctors get away with only having appointments three weeks in the future? I mean, if a person is sick enough to seek medical care, doesn’t it make sense that they’d probably need care a soon as possible?
So to make a long story short, I got to see my GP again until I can get in at the specialist. My old doctor – the specialist- apparently died two months ago. Bummer. I am now on Prednisone (steroids), and am currently awaiting all of the lovely side-effects that inevitably accompany it. Hopefully I’ll only be on it for a couple of weeks, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
On a more cheerful note, my doctor says he wants me to have a handicapped placard for my vehicle, and will probably give me the paperwork for that at my appointment next week.
Soooo – next chapter will definitely not be done by next Tuesday, and I’m not sure when it will be done. I will try to work on it diligently, but depending on what side effects I suffer from my meds, I may or may not be up to writing.
No reviews to speak of, mostly because I still can’t post at ff.net, and I don’t know if the chapter went up at FA or not, so everyone who’s reviewed it, I’ve responded already.
