Not quite dead
Sep. 1st, 2005 03:44 pmHello, all. Forgiveany mistakes, as I have a baddcase ofthe treamors today. It sems thethe the last time iwas in the hospital I contracted several other problems and allergies, and ended up having to have my colon removed, from which I am still recovering. THis is the first time I have sat in front of the computer in over two months.
I thought about you guys everyday, hoping you all did think Iwas dead, though sometimes I felt like Iwas. I have to have a second surgery in about two months to reverse some of what they did in this one, so I won't have to have an illiostomy bag for te rest of my life.
for anyone who cares, there is some rudimentary info about mycondition here, and you can feel free to ask qustions: http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/colitis/
Just assume that most ofthe stuff they can go wrong pretty much did.
I'm still real weak and try to heal, so may not be on the computer much - I dread looking at me e-mail accounts!
Jusr know that I am alive, and am doing my best to remain so.
I hope you are are all well, and have read the book and have lots to discuss when I am able!
I hope to "talk"to you soon!
