stuff and stuff
Jan. 31st, 2010 01:17 pmStill feel like crap, but managing with over the counter cold pills. I don't think I will need to call in sick tomorrow, at any rate.
Things of note:
I ordered a portable scanner for all of my family's photos that we are constantly arguing about. Now, we will each get a digital copy of every picture and they can do what they want with them. It will be a big project, but worth it, I think.
I start the reading interventionist portion of my job tomorrow. I will be working with first graders who are still having difficulty with basic letter sounds, sight words and vc/cvc words (vowel consonant/consonant vowel consonant). Many of them are at a huge disadvantage already, because they have non-English speaking parents, and so don't get the extra help that they need at home.
I also need to get my older son into the doctor tomorrow if at all possible, because his asthma is acting up and has been bothering him for a couple of weeks now. Breathing treatments are only really working for a couple of hours at a time, and we are down to the last two doses before we are completely out.
My son told me that zombies would be a lot slower if they had to stop and pray before each brain they ate. This sparked a debate as to what a zombie might pray for, of they even have souls.
I can feel my medicine wearing off, so it is time to stop rambling. Hope you're all well.
