It's my birthday!
Feb. 7th, 2005 06:28 amWell, I went to see the Lion King on stage (my sister got me tickets as an early birthday gift) on Saturday night, and it was amazing. The sets were beautiful, and the costumes were astounding. I recommend going to see it if you ever get a chance. I was really blown away by all of it! Afterward, we went to Applebees for a late dinner, and all I can say is – the freaks really do come out at night.
I submitted Chapter 13 – Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw to Fiction Alley Sunday afternoon, so with a little luck, it might make it up on Monday. I have it posted on ff.net here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2127049/13/ - (For some reason my section breaks didn’t show up, so I’ll be trying to fix that.) And I will be posting it to the Lexicon today as well, if time permits.
BTW – I had to change the title of Chapter 14 to “Bend in the Road” because my original title “Third Time’s the Charm” was, er, inaccurate – due to a minor change in the storyline.
For now, I have a bulletin board to finish putting up and my kid’s school, and then I’m going to get my free birthday lunch at Joe’s BBQ – yum!
TEC - Always glad to hear from a new reader! You’ve got some very good ideas about why Connor’s hands itch, and part of what you guessed is partially right (that’s not confusing at all, is it?). Snape is going to take a larger part, but that’s not hard, considering he’s hardly been in the fic at all so far. Harry will most likely have some issues with this, because even after fighting a war together, they still don’t like each other very much. Rupert? Boy, do I have plans for Rupert! I can’t really say much more than that, but he’ll definitely play a large part of the story before all is said and done! Thanks for your comments, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!

Congratulations on being the first to spot that rather LARGE error on my part, and reminding me that I need to go and fix it! Have a brownie! I hope you enjoy the rest of the fic, and that you’ll give the sequel a try as well!
